Extract from Patreon – Mars opposite Saturn occurs on July 1. We are at a peak point in the T-square pattern formed between Mars in Leo opposing Saturn in Aquarius and squaring Uranus in Taurus. Mars opposing Saturn can have the effect of bringing us to a dead stop. Mars wants to go fast, Saturn insists on going slow because we’ve got a long way to go yet. Mars in Leo is full of confidence, a brave and proud warrior, ready to fight for whatever he wants. But Saturn is a Sergeant Major, shouting orders. You there, stop, right now! And we grate and grumble, fume and snarl like the caged cat we are with Mars in the sign of the lion. But the slowdown is necessary because we’re going to need to build our muscles. We need to consider strategy, long-term planning and see how the land lies. It’s infuriating and yet, if we channel this energy constructively, it can be enormously useful.
